Refaat Alathamna is a Palestinian-Bolivian doctor who has witnessed, for more than two years, the genocide in Gaza perpetrated by the Israeli army. He worked as a doctor at the European and Nasser hospitals and documented, via social media, the atrocities committed by the Zionist colonial regime. He was evacuated to Spain in October 2025 and applied for asylum with his wife and children.
