Tuesday, 25th March, at 7.30 pm, in Sankofa (Beata Inés Street, 10. Patraix, València)
Day after day, militarism is invading our institutions and societies in a dangerous escalation. Is there no alternative to this drift? Do we have to watch, stupefied, as events unfold? What can we do, from civil society, to transform this trend?
We will be talking about this and other things next Tuesday.
We will be joined by Sal·lus Herrero and Juli Antoni Aguado. Both are members of MOC-València (Conscientious Objection Movement). Sal·lus has been a sociology professor at the UV. He is an activist in social and civic movements in the Valencian Country: ecology, anti-racism, pacifism and defence of the language. Juli is a lecturer in the Department of Sociology and Social Anthropology at the UV and a researcher in the field of citizen participation and social movements.
